Scenario

After escaping from an island prison where he spent 14 years after being wrongly accused of treason, Edmond Dantès returns as the Count of Monte Cristo to exact revenge on the men who betrayed him. When Albert watches Hydee sing and play the guitar, it is very obvious that she doesn’t even touch the strings half the time.

It is very good and kept the pace of a long film very well. The actors did their job properly with just the right amount of emotion.

I wanted to give it 8* but I couldn’t

It is very good, but not that exceptional. The camera work is very good, sometimes splendid and adds to the emotion of the story.

It is worth watching and on a big screen

I disagree with critics who compare films to the original classic novels. They are two different mediums and both have shortcomings and advantages.

I didn’t notice anyone getting bored during the movie, despite its length – like looking at their phones or moving around a lot
