Best new show ever

After a disappointing season 4 of Jack Ryan and generally lackluster shows everywhere, this one felt so much better in every way. It looks really well-made and the action/fight scenes are incredible. Great acting from everyone.

I think most of the criticism of this show in the comments section boils down to how unrealistic it is because of the whole female operative thing, and I, a man, don’t mind a good action series with a female lead. I also haven’t noticed any warning signs so far, like every male looks incompetent or something. Also, at first I thought it would be a more action-packed, simpler show, but then they leaned a bit into the family, and normally I think that’s terrible, but I didn’t hate what they did.

My only criticism is that the plot of this particular group of operators limits the story a lot and could ruin it after a season of intrigue/villain… and the fast-paced “Homeland”, otherwise there’s a risk that it could become too episodic, like a “blacklist”. PS: Nicole Kidman’s role so far is incredibly small and uneventful and could have been played by anyone else…

We’ll see what the great Morgan Freeman brings to the show

But from what I’ve seen so far, the show could do with Zaldana without other A-list celebrities being left alone. TLDR Cautiously optimistic overall, but I like what I’m seeing so far, it’s all incredibly polished and well done. It’s entertaining, even if it’s not the History Channel show some reviewers seem to prefer.
